Strange yet very cool guitars

April 30, 2008 by Chris

Wordless Wednesday

four neck guitar

Man, now that’s a guitar! I think you’d have to be huge in order to play this wide four necked guitar.

Now this one …. I think you’d need an extra arm to play this one properly. Take a look:

Strange guitar

Speaking of big guitars you’ve gotta check this one out!

Keep on Jammin’

Those are insane guitars. I have never seen any guitars like that. Those are simply amazing. I would like to have a go with one and see what neat sounds i can come up with. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone can Urban Though. Just one string at a time and a bit of practise! It just lloks difficult to play. It’s really just a bunch of instruments put together in a unique configuration!

Ya, I love finding guitars like these ones and posting them on my sites TeEKu.

I honestly think that people like to see which direction, or the evolution, the guitar is going in, don’t you?

the 2nd one man thats just werid you should put a video up here with someone playing it and the huge guitar then people would really see it

I would be interested as well cogar. I’d love to actually pick the thing up and play it!
I would be interested in how the guitar would project it’s sound?

The sound of the acoustic guitar is mainly generated from the top plate of it. I think the more things attached to the top would decrease the vibrating of it, therefore giving the guitar a less then warm sound. It’s at least neat to look at!

    Thanx for the comment

I wonder how heavy one of these guys would be? I couldn’t imagine that hanging from around my neck. hah, does anyone have any videos of anyone playing something like this?

That is one crazy guitar. You’d have to build a robot with crazy arms in order to play all ends at once!!

  26. Chris says

    April 2, 2010 at 12:41 pm

If you could devise a multi-armed robot that played guitar, imagine if there was a program gliche! It would either be very funny or unbelievably dangerous! A future Youtube hit in the making.
