I know that this blog is for the enrichment and the celebration of guitar and guitarist, but let’s not forget the ones who back them up on their musical journey.
The past ones are easy to me! John Bonham, Buddy Rich, ,Carl Palmer and Gary McCracken of Max Webster are just a few to come to mind!

I kind of like Carter Beauford from the Dave Matthews Band. One of the things that makes Dave sound great is that he surrounds himself with great musicians, and Carter definitely fits the bill.
I couldn’t agree with your choice Calvin. That guy is great.
As a guitarist, I first started out on acoustic and I believe that if you can master the unplugged thing(acoustic), you can jump to electric like a joke! I wonder if Cater plays bongos or the tabla? I wonder if this applies here, just wondering out loud.
